Bilston Creek Farm on Vancouver Island is a wedding venue we will never tire of shooting at. To set the stage, the staff are amazing and they have taken so much care into creating a stunning venue on a working lavender farm. The venue has an impressive barn with a modern edge that can be used for dinners which includes a patio for cocktail hour. If you want to eat under the stars with your friends and family, there is space for that too. They have multiple gorgeous options for your ceremony including their main outdoor space in the field amongst some beautiful mature trees as well as in the forest a stones throw from the main barn. If you want to dance the night away with a live band, they have made a sound proof lower level under the barn so you can have a barn burner without disturbing the neighbours! There’s no shortage of beautiful places to photograph on the farm including the lavender field and a walking trail. If you have time and the desire to go off site, with a short drive or hike, you are standing on some unbelievable ocean cliffs near arbutus trees and tall grass.
