NOTE —

If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. You can also use our fave TinyJpeg to make them small so your blog posts still load quickly!

BEHIND THE LENS

We are Danaea & Silas

MARRIED TEAM OF WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS BASED IN VANCOUVER, BC. AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE.

We are inspired by connection, light and the spontaneity of people living in and enjoying the moment. Weddings can be simple or elaborate, intimate or packed to the brim  - what we love about them remains constant. We find ourselves sucked in and enjoying each one, attracted to emotion and documenting the human experience. It's a thrill to notice, to be present and in tune to capture the subtle exchanges amidst the more obvious and classic wedding moments.
We are parents to a sweet and spicy duo. Our very best days are spent with them. They undoubtedly have shifted the way we view life, relationships and have broadened our perspectives.
Silas grew up in Colombia and Danaea grew up in the town we live in. We enjoy architecture, design and the first sip of coffee in the morning. We love travelling - exploring new corners of the world, Disneyland and a simple walk by the river where we live.
It's surreal to get to spend the majority of our weekends in celebration of the love people share, highlighting the very best of what it means to be human time and time again.
